Phonic Enrichment
New education policies and mandated assessments have created an increased demand for early and effective reading instruction methods. We offer a strong literacy program because we believe that reading is the key to academic success. A high percentage of our students learn to read, comprehend and write well beyond their age and excel in the primary school.
Our program covers:
Phonemic awareness of letter sounds, Spelling Rules, Syllable Types & Division rules, Irregular Words, Silent 'e' Rules, Prefixes, Suffixes, Root Words, Homophones, Spelling, Strategies, Vocabulary, Dictations, Reading fluency, Comprehension Skills and Composition Skills. Spelling concepts are manipulatively demonstrated to turn an idea or concept into something that students can see, manipulate, grasp and easily understand. Penmanship is an integral part of the program.

We teach Phonics using an enjoyable multi-sensory VAKT Method - Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, and Tactile to maximize learning the letter- sound relationships. This method requires time and immersion and works best with 3-4 days a week participation.
We also offer a systematic individualized program that caters to students of all abilities using a unique and proven learning method.
